Directions
From Keswick:
Route shown in Blue on the map
Follow the B5289 South along the East side of Derwent Water through the Borrowdale Valley. Continue just past the South end of the lake before turning right for Grange. Follow the minor road North through Manesty, then turn right to Borrowdale Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite.
From Honister Pass:
Route shown in Red on the map
Follow the B5289 into Borrowdale Valley and continue until turning left for Grange. Follow the minor road North through Manesty, then turn right to Borrowdale Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite. Please be aware that this route invloves narrow roads and steep inclines with limited passing places.
Parking will be signed from Grange.
Important Note:
Shown with out-of-bounds purple hashing on the map
Please DO NOT use the minor road on the Western side of Derwent Water. This is very narrow and will quickly become congested with vehicles. Instead, follow above instructions (which is only 2 minutes slower from Portinscale).
Parking
Parking is at the Borrowdale Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite.
